A small artisan workshop where traditional weaving lives in contemporary objects for the home.
For more than 10 years, we have been preserving Ukrainian kilim weaving.
We combine precise quality, contemporary details and the folk aesthetics of rural weaving. Runners, interior pillows and women's bags are woven on antique looms using the counted slit-weave technique.
Most pieces are built around geometric patterns, while the loom defines the available fabric width: 70 or 100 cm.
For the rugs, we use a dense carpet yarn made from 100% sheep wool by a factory in Chernihiv. The foundation is a strong cotton twine that holds the wool yarn.
Customers around the world decorate their homes with genuine handmade wool rugs. Our bags are worn with pleasure, and the woven pillows become favorite details in the home.
Every order is unique and made after an individual discussion of the details. The base ornaments remain unchanged, while the color palette and length can be adapted.
At the beginning and end of each piece, the foundation is tied into special knots called frenzli (fringe). The order form is in the Ornaments section.
